The Story of Mass Produced
Commercial Chickens
It starts out innocently enough. Young chicks hanging out in
the yard with everyone else. They fall in with the fast crowd.
Then somebody shows up with some drugs, nothing to get your feathers
ruffled over, but you know...additives....antibiotics....hormones.
Before you know it, they're hooked. Not a pretty sight.
The Northern Colorado Poultry
Growers Co-Op Story
Northern Colorado Poultry Growers Co-op chickens don't
do drugs. What they do is eat. They eat the finest, most
nutritionally complete food we can get, and drink clean water. Fresh air, sunshine and
free-range exercise are an essential part of raising our healthy
chickens. All this clean living pays off in better flavor and food
value.
